Barbarians head into this weekend two games needing 4 points from 4, after a dismal 6-1 defeat against local rivals Khaos last time out. The lose has seen the Barbarians drop to 3rd in the table below Khaos. Both Barbarians and Khaos on 10 points with league leaders Salford having a two point cushion on 12 points.
Comets and Vipers are this weekends opponents and with the Barbarians fielding an under strength team for the second weekend in a row. Its going to prove difficult to gain the required 4 points to stay in touch with Salford early impressive form.
Comets are first up, having lost tallies man Josh Stockton to division A high flyer's Hallamshire Hornets, Comets seem to have plugged the gap however have defencive frailties which the Barbarians must take advantage off to gain the 2 points required. Comets sit 10th overall in the standing however have played tough opponents so far and have only lost by the odd goal so all is to play for this weekend.
Second game against a much improved Vipers to last season will again see the Barbarians push for glory. A game that's not going to be a walk in the park but an expected 2 points.
